Why you should comments on my blog ?

by Jaydip on September 19, 2009

Every visitor who visit my blog is not commenting on my posts / articles. Industry survey says there is 2% or 3 % from your visitors commenting your blog. Why so less because people are not bother to comment any where until and unless they might get benefit out of it.

If I say if you comment on my blog you will get good benefit out of it. I am sure you will love to comment as well as you will keep commenting on my blog. The main befits are as follows.

Get Do follow Back Links

My blog is having dofollow atribute so when you are commenting on my blog you will get a dofollow backlink. Isn’t it you are looking for ?

Don’t Buy any thing still get two free

Generally We are getting some irresistible offer from leading brands about “Buy one Get one free” but here you will get two free just for doing comments. Wondering How ? I am using CommentLuv Plugin so when ever you start writing post, after submitting your Name, Email and URL, this plugin will find latest post of your Blog / Site via your RSS. Now you are end up with two links one is your Home URL and second one is your latest Post URL. Just check this as example bellow.

Get Pagerank Share from my Blog

I hope you are aware about Pagerank, If not check the definition of Google as follows.

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important”.

Google is checking all Inbound / Outbound links of you page and will share your PR. The better you have internal links the better you will get advantage for getting PR leaking internally. I am dare to share my PR with all my commentators. Just get more information about Internal Linking and PageRank Leakage

Get New Visitors

If you landed to my page and you put down any comment at the end of the comment there is link of your latest post and this link can attract new visitors to your blog. For this you must have a catchy Title and killer content.

Get more Visibility in blogger Community

When ever you are reading good article you might be checking comments for that article. I hope more then 85% blogger are doing the same. If you are sharing good comment or informative comments you will automatically get more visibility to other Blogger.

I can write few more advantage as well but now it’s your turn to find it and share it as a comment. So what are you waiting for Keep Commenting ………………..

Jaydip,

I absolutely agree with you on the comments part. People are simply not interested to react unless there is a direct benefit out of it. The way you have opened the eyes with the in-direct benefits of comments, I hope visitors will take a notice of the same and react.

Regards,
Vishal

Hey,
I am the first one to comment on this post. I have the same problem on my blog, people don’t really comment, so I put the nofollow on all the comments now. You are doing great job, keep it up.

You certainly make it enticing to post on your blog with dofollow comments, but that’s not the only reason one should comment.  I agree that being more visible to other bloggers is also extremely helpful.
I find that comments breed comments.  Keep up the good work ;-)

All good points but one shouldn’t ignore commenting on blogs with no-follow tags intact.
I use do-follow on my blog and comment luv, seems like the right thing to do.
Cheers,
Rod

I find that after spending the time to write interesting articles, whilst of course it’s never going to be a requirement, it’s nice if people leave commments, helps add interest to the article and stimulates further discussion..  But, you’re absolutely right, the ‘norm’ is for people to stop by and read the information they are looking for and then disappear..   Please people – say hello!

Ya, what you write is true about comments. I came here from the slider post, Smooth Slider is looking cool on your website, as well great that you encourage people to be more interactive here on your blog. All the best, keep blogging.

Hey Jaydip,

I totally agree with what you mentioned in this post. I believe link building using black hat methods will never work, and the only way to build links that Google recognise is through the SEO techniques u mentioned in this post. Great tips (: will continue to support your blog!
