Facebook Fan Page is really Viral way to marketing. Till now it was having some limitations one of them is you cannot change the NAME of you Facebook Fanpage. Now things are changed you actually can change Facebook Fanpage name. This is one of the revolutionary feature from Facebook.
Step by step explanation how to change your Facebook Fanpage Name.
- Go to Ads and Pages ( Click Here )
- Select the fanpage of which you want to change the name.
- As this is new feature is added to Facebook Fanpage. So check following Screen and make sure. Which kind of screen you are getting .
Screen "A"
Screen "B"

Jaydip, I have a similar post to this coming. You will want to let people know that to GET to these pages they go here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/manage/ and then under each page where it says “Edit Page” … it USED to go to the old back end manager but now goes to the new pages you just did a screenshot of… The addresses look like these: http://www.facebook.com/pages/edit/?id=151081351596440&sk=basic Good screenshots but gotta tell people how to get there

One more thing worth noting is that the re-name is only available to pages with not too many fans. We don’t know where the cutoff is but high fan-volume pages are not changeable. For example, my my Syndication Alliance page has about 400 and is not changeable but my recently started page that has 15 is changeable.

Thanks for insight. The same problem with me too. I had tried for one page which is having 75 / one is having 34 It’s showing option there but not in a big number pages. I guess cut off line might be less then 100.
So we can remove fans in this case to cut down the number..?
I have one page with 180 fans and page is renamed wrong…So that’s the only option which I can think of at this moment..!!

I was thinking on the same Direction for one of my page which is having 160 around fans. Are you talking about WordPressFreeSetup ?? You already made new page for that.
To just try, you can do that but I am not sure you will be get proper result or not. There no authentic updates about from FB till now or I am not able to locate that.
Harsh given the data that’s coming in, I’m going to speculate that what you’re trying to do won’t work … but I don’t know if it’s been tried so might be interesting. The problem is that if it’s going to work its going to happen at a very very low number, and heck at that point might as well just re-make the page!

After more study today it appears that pages created after a certain date have much more flexibility in changing page names than older pages though. So a newer page with a bunch of fans is much more likely to be able to change names than an older page. Its almost as if the field simply isnt available to a page over 25 fans if its over… maybe 6 months? old. I’m not sure about that month cut off but something like that.

Well in that case only one way is that you have to reduce fans make them less then 100. I know it sounds funny or odd but that is the only way out as of now. BTW I had update the same in post too. Read last para and check the link of Official FB Fanpage guide.

It’s facebook everywhere. Once i was too worried for the same thing, to change it’s name. But i founded the solution, later on.
